Jasper graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and has since worked in several states across Australia in both metropolitan and regional settings. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2019 after completing his Endocrinology training at Westmead Hospital in Sydney and Eastern Health in Melbourne.
He currently has public affiliations with Eastern Health and West Gippsland Hospital (Warragul). Jasper had been involved in clinical research with particular interest in diabetes and its complications. His findings were presented at national endocrine meetings and published in a number of peer-reviewed journals.
Other than English, Jasper is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin
Renata graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and completed her specialist training in Melbourne (Austin Health and Monash Health) and Sydney (St Vincent’s Hospital). She obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2019. Renata is affiliated with Monash Health and works for the general endocrine clinic, endocrine hypertension service, and as a ward consultant at the Victorian Heart Hospital.
She completed her PhD in 2023 through Monash University with funding from the prestigious NHMRC and National Heart Foundation to study Conn syndrome, the most common endocrine cause of hypertension. She continues her research work in aldosterone hormone as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research and also holds an Honorary Clinical Fellow position with the University of Melbourne for her academic work in diabetes.
Renata welcomes referrals for all areas of endocrinology including diabetes, weight management, osteoporosis, thyroid and women's health, with particular interest in adrenal diseases. Other than English, Renata is also fluent in Indonesian.
Dr Andi Alipoor is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and completed her training in endocrinology and diabetes at Barwon Health, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Eastern Health and Monash Health. She has public affiliation with Monash Health.
Dr Andi Alipoor spent one year of her training as a clinical research fellow at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne on type 1 diabetes and technology.
She is a member of Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian Diabetes Society and US Endocrine Society.
Dr Andi Alipoor has experience in broad range of endocrine disorders including diabetes (type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes), thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, parathyroid and calcium disorders, pituitary disorders, lipid metabolism, obesity and weight management, adrenal gland disorders and reproductive endocrinology including menopause and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
Apart from English, Dr Alipoor speaks fluent Farsi/Persian.
Dr. Ka Wah Lee (William) is an experienced Endocrinologist. Currently he is holding fellowship qualifications worldwide including FRACP (Australia) , FRCP (Glasgow) , FRCP (Hong Kong) after his graduation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
He practised as an associate consultant in Hong Kong before coming to Australia and subsequently worked under Eastern Health in Victoria and Murrumbidgee Local Health District in NSW for fellowship accreditation.
Dr Lee has clinical interest in all aspect of endocrinology including diabetes, thyroid disorder, osteoporosis, weight management, electrolyte disorder, adrenal and pituitary disorders.
Apart from English, Dr Lee also speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
Dr Chowdhury graduated from the University of Queensland and completed her physician training through Western Health. She then completed her specialist training in Endocrinology through Peninsula Health, Canberra Health Services, and Western Health, and was subsequently admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
She has worked across multiple tertiary and regional centres in Victoria, the ACT, and Queensland. Dr Chowdhury has a particular interest in diabetes, metabolic bone disease (including osteoporosis and osteopaenia), adrenal and pituitary conditions.
Dr Chowdhury is actively involved in medical education and quality improvement. She is passionate about delivering thoughtful, patient-centred care with a strong focus on clear communication and collaboration.
Dr Chowdhury welcomes referrals for all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology.
In addition to English, Dr Chowdhury is fluent in Bengali.
Dr Leonard Shan, FRACS, PhD Melb is a distinguished vascular surgeon at St. Vincent's and Epworth Hospitals, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at The University of Melbourne, Head of Research in the Department of Vascular Surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, and editorial board member of the Annals of Vascular Surgery. He maintains fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian and New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr Shan is also the founder of the ShanVascular Veins Centre which provides outpatient-based treatment of chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins in dedicated operating theatres.
Dr Shan is internationally recognised for his expertise in quality of life after surgery which has been his area of interest for over a decade. He was awarded a Commonwealth Government-funded PhD in vascular surgery from The University of Melbourne with the mentorship of world-renowned surgeons Professor Alun Davies and Professor Peter Choong. His thesis has significantly advanced our understanding of how to achieve outcomes that matter most to patients. To date, Dr Shan has published 35 peer-reviewed journal articles (h-index 16, >1200 citations) in some of the highest-ranking journals in medicine and surgery, including Circulation and Annals of Surgery.
Dr Shan manages a wide variety of arterial and venous conditions in a multidisciplinary environment. He takes pride in supporting his patients throughout their entire treatment journey. Patients are cared for at academic centres of excellence, supported by a highly qualified team of physicians, anaesthetists, intensivists, and allied health staff. Dr Shan provides 6 convenient consulting locations throughout Melbourne, the Macedon Ranges, and Gippsland. On-site or nearby vascular laboratory ultrasounds performed by specialist-trained vascular sonographers are organised for all patients.

Diana is a highly accomplished Registered Nurse with a distinguished career spanning across the UK and Australia. She began her professional journey in England, where she completed her Registered Nurse training. Following this, she attained her Registered Sick Children’s Nursing qualification in Glasgow, Scotland.
Diana’s career has been marked by significant leadership roles, including several years as a Nurse Manager overseeing both Paediatric and Adult services in metropolitan and rural areas within England. She later returned to Australia, where she became a Credentialed Diabetes Educator in 2013, working initially in Melbourne.
Her expertise led her to an esteemed position at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism (OCDEM) in Oxford, UK. At OCDEM, Diana had the opportunity to collaborate with leading endocrinologists, research teams, and specialist diabetes educators, further honing her skills and knowledge.
After three years at OCDEM, Diana returned to Melbourne, taking on the role of Diabetes Education Nurse Manager for Alfred Health. Over the next six years, she made significant contributions to diabetes care and education.
Now transitioning to private practice, Diana remains dedicated to empowering individuals with diabetes. She is passionate about exploring innovative methods to improve health outcomes, enhance self-management confidence, and leverage technology for better glucose control.
Diana is a certified pump trainer with experience in managing Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA), Maturity onset diabetes in the young (MODY), insulin pumps, CGM, Steroid Induced Diabetes, Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes (CFRD), Gestational Diabetes and Pre-diabetes.
