Getting there

Pakenham: Our address is 130 McGregor Road, Pakenham (right opposite the Heritage Springs Shopping Centre). Access is through a service lane off McGregor Road. Disabled parking is available on site. Limited parking spots are also available at the rear of the building, most suited for small-medium cars. There is free parking at the Heritage Springs Shopping Centre right across the road (3-minute walk, 250 metres). We ask you to please not park on the service lane as it may affect local traffic. Bus number 928 stops next to the shopping centre and it is then a short walk to the clinic.

Clyde: Our consulting room is located within Casey Specialist Centre, opposite Coles Clyde North (on Berwick-Cranbourne Rd). There is ample free parking on site.

Morwell: Our consulting room is located within the Maryvale Private Hospital. There is ample free parking on site.

Appointments

Appointments are usually 30-40 minutes long for new patients, and 10-20 minutes for review. Video (telehealth) appointment can be arranged and a link will be emailed to you before the appointment time.

Bookings

Bookings can be made by calling or emailing us. A reminder text message will be sent two days prior to the appointment to confirm the date and time. If you need to reschedule, we would appreciate a notification as early as possible so that we can offer the appointment time to patients on our waiting list.

We will make every effort to offer an appointment with one of the Endocrinologists within 4 weeks. Please let us know if you are pregnant and we will endeavour to arrange an urgent appointment for you.

Fees

We are a private billing clinic and a full payment is required on the day of your appointment. We offer concession rates to pension and healthcare card holders. Provided there is a valid referral, we can process the Medicare rebate for you on the day. You should receive the Medicare rebate directly into your nominated bank account within 48 business hours.

Payment

Positive Diabetes Care with Diana is a private practice and therefore charges a fee for all consultations. Payment is made before or at the time of your appointment. Payment can be made via EFTPOS, cash or PayID.

If you have 'extras cover’ with your private health insurance, you may be able to claim a rebate from your insurer.

Please contact your health fund for confirmation and more details.A ‘Chronic Disease Management Plan’ (Item 721) or a ‘Team Care Arrangement’ (Item 723) provided by your GP, may enable you to claim a Medicare rebate.

Cancelling/ Appointment changes

A notice of 24 hours is required for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. For changes or cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee may apply.
